"On Thursday, July 12, 2007, Phil and his crew were painting a house in German Village.
While painting a dormer on the third story, the ladder from which Phil was painting slid,
causing Phil to fall onto the first floor roof and he continued falling to the ground.
Unfortunately, the impact of the fall has left damage to his spinal cord,
permanently affecting the use of his lower extremities."
